Huck has been a broker for 30 years in the Fort Worth area.  He is a native of Fort Worth, attended Washington and Lee University and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Finance and Petroleum Land Management.

After five years of handling lease negotiations for a large independent oil and gas firm, he began his commercial real estate career in 1986 with Henry S. Miller/Grubb & Ellis in Fort Worth.  Huck then moved to Duddlesten Management Company as Director of Marketing, handling the leasing and sales for the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

In 1992, he founded The Newberry Company to focus on the tenant representation side of the business.  Huck brings years of lease negotiating skills acquired by experiencing the business from both the landlord’s and the tenant’s perspectives.

Huck currently or previously served on the Board of Governors, as Scholarship Committee Chair and Education Committee Chair of the Society of Commercial Realtors, the Board of Directors and Endowment Advisory Committee of the Rotary Club of (Downtown) Fort Worth, the Board of Directors of River Crest Country Club, Board of the Christian Prayer Breakfast * Fort Worth – Tarrant County, Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth, Deacon of Christ Chapel Bible Church, and the Board of Directors, Alumni Council Chairman and Falcon (booster) Club President for Fort Worth Country Day School, and Board of Directors of The Steeplechase Club.  He is a member of the Exchange Club of Fort Worth, the Commercial Industrial Brokers Association, the Chamber of Commerce, and the National, Texas, and Greater Fort Worth Associations of Realtors.

Huck and his wife, Cameron, live in Fort Worth where they are almost empty nesters having one college graduate, two children in college and one in upper school who is still at home.
